He joined the mInvestment Banking team in January 2024.Before joining mInvestment Banking, Sebastian worked at independent financial advisory firms CAG and MacDonald &amp; Associates, advising owners and management boards of leading companies operating in Central and Eastern Europe on mergers and acquisitions.He began his career through internships at international investment banks Rothschild &amp; Co and Société Générale, as well as at the global advisory firm EY.

Sebastian Valdes-Niemiec

Jolanta is a graduate of Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin, where she studied Mathematics. She joined the Management Board of mInvestment Banking in June 2023 with a mission to build strong expertise in debt advisory.Since 1997, her career has been closely tied to the mBank Group, where she held managerial positions—initially in departments responsible for mBank’s equity investments, later in structured and mezzanine financing, and most recently as a Management Board Member of mBank Hipoteczny.Earlier in her career, she worked at the brokerage office IB Austria Securities and at Poland’s first investment bank, PBR S.A.Jolanta began her professional journey during the economic transformation of the 1990s. As a project manager at the Ministry of Ownership Transformations, she led privatization projects for state-owned enterprises and participated in the initial public offerings of the first companies listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange.

Grzegorz holds a double Master’s degree from the Warsaw School of Economics (SGH), where he studied Finance and Accounting as well as Corporate Financial Management. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting from the Poznań University of Economics and Business. He also studied in China at the Shanghai University of Finance and Economics.He has been with mInvestment Banking since October 2018 and currently serves as a Senior Associate. Prior to joining mInvestment Banking, he began his career in the Investment Banking Division of Trigon Dom Maklerski S.A., where he actively participated in M&amp;A and capital market transactions for companies and private equity funds in the Central and Eastern European region.Grzegorz has several years of experience in investment banking, with expertise in M&amp;A advisory (both buy-side and sell-side), equity capital markets (IPOs), and debt advisory.

Sławek is a graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics (SGH), where he studied Finance and Banking, as well as the University of Warsaw, where he earned a degree in Law. He also holds a diploma from the international CEMS Master in International Management (MIM) program. He is an alumnus of the Capital Market Leaders Academy and holds a Polish brokerage license. Additionally, he has successfully passed all three levels of the CFA Program.He has been working at mInvestment Banking since August 2016 and has over a decade of experience in transaction advisory.Before joining mIB, he served as Chief Financial Officer at InterKadra, where he was responsible for mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and management process optimization. Earlier in his career, he worked at the investment boutique CAG, where he actively participated in numerous M&amp;A transactions for companies owned by investment funds and private investors across the Central and Eastern European region.

Karol joined the mInvestment Banking team in 2025. Previously, he gained experience as an analyst at a boutique M&amp;A advisory firm and in the venture capital market. He is a graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics (SGH) and the Jagiellonian University.Throughout his career, he has supported owners of Polish companies in the consumer and industrial goods sectors in mergers and acquisitions transactions.He participated in the 16th edition of the Capital Market Leaders Academy and the BCG EmpowerPL program. He was an active member of student organizations such as the Investor’s Club and KNRK Index. He also gained advisory experience through participation in numerous competitions, including the EY Financial Challenger (twice ranked in the TOP 10 in Poland) and the M&amp;Asters Challenge organized by PwC.
